One of a pair of 1997 vintage Clynelish single malts bottled in 2014 by Wemyss. This one was matured in a hogshead until 2013 and had an outturn of 371 bottles, then given the title Bench With A Sea View. A relaxed dram, with plenty of sea breeze notes running through it.
Interesting taste, not as sweet'n'waxy as the usual Clynelish, but this bottling delivery delicate coastal aromas with a whiff of lemon algae...
