Christmas Cake & Dark Chocolate & Medjool Dates & Cinnamon
Single Malt
Scotland
Festive flavours like Christmas cake, dark chocolate, medjool dates, and cinnamon are the name of the game here. And by "name of the game", we of course mean that Christmas Cake & Dark Chocolate & Medjool Dates & Cinnamon is literally the name of this whisky. What we've got is a superb Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, aged for eight years and boasting a sleighful of Yuletide elements, perfect for enjoying... Well, yeah, it'll obviously be brilliant at Christmas, and any whisky fan will be thrilled to find a bottle under the tree with their name on it. It'll probably be great any time of year if you're a lover of sherried single malt, thinking about it, but it does have that little bit of holly on the label, so, y'know, Christmas and that.
Dried fruit soaked in sherry, gingersnaps, brandy butter, clove, malty vanilla lingering underneath.
A big helping of orange as it arrives on the palate, soon joined by dark chocolate shavings, golden syrup, cinnamon sticks, dried cherry, dates, and shortbread.
The eponymous Christmas cake notes hang around for a good while afterwards, with hints of citrus oil and chocolate mousse.
Turns out that very descriptive name is... Well, it's very descriptive, and incredibly accurate, too!

Had a wee dram before we bout it and it went down well would highly recommend
This is a really great christmas tipple. But also good at any time of year. I really liked this. My wife really, really liked this. It's rich and interesting. Nicely balanced. There aren't many drams that could beat this at this price point.
On first taste of this we weren't over keen. It was nice enough but didn't knock our socks off. However, subsequent snifters improved markedly and the bottle really didn't last very long at all. Highly recommend this, but make sure you try it twice.
Quiet a good drop, not as Christmassy as made out, I'd have preferred it to have way more of a medjool date and Christmas cake flavour, but as a drink for a cold night in front of a good book it's not bad.
Took a bit of a punt on this and was not disappointed. It went round the table at my whisky club and was liked but all. Stood up well against whisky of considerably higher cost. It does exactly what it says on the bottle
