A single malt from an undisclosed whisky distillery on Orkney, independently bottled up by Chorlton Whisky. There's only two whisky distilleries on Orkney, so you might be able to figure out which one this came from. It was distilled in January 2005 and left to age in a hogshead for 15 years, then bottled at cask strength with an outturn of only 121 bottles. I think they're fishing on the label, but that one person is holding a lizard, so maybe they're fishing for lizards?
Subtle coastal hints juxtaposed by sweet marmalade.
Malty and full-bodied, with a dollop of raspberry compote and salted caramel.
Toasted oak and sea salt lingers.
