A mysterious single malt from the Highland region, independently bottled by Chorlton Whisky! This one was distilled in 2010 (at an undisclosed distillery) and aged in a bourbon barrel for a decade, eventually being bottled at 58.6% ABV with an outturn of 272 bottles. A pleasant river scene can be seen upon the label. Idyllic, some would say.
Soft salinity with a hint of coastal air, balanced by waxy citrus peels and a smidge of vanilla.
Still waxy, now with a touch of snuffed candle. Fresh clementine and pear, plus butterscotch creaminess.
Sea salt and black pepper crisps, and a hint of preserved lemon.
