Bealach Ruadh 7yo

It's another Chorlton Whisky bottling of Bealach Ruadh, the annual secret(ish) Islay single malt release! The Island whisky has been aged in a bourbon hogshead for seven years, and though this is a relatively young spirit, it still manages to boast a complex maritime flavour profile. Only 152 secretive bottles were released at 58.2% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose A dash of sea salt and lemon zest, with sea washed pebbles and just a hint of vanilla sponge cake.

Palate More maritime loveliness alongside peat smoke and toffee apple sweetness. Seaweed is intertwined with fresh herbs and pine needles.

Finish Bonfire smoke and toffee balance each other on a long, smoky-sweet finish.
