
This is the 2022 Edition of the US bottling of Ichiro's single malt, produced at the Chichibu Distillery in Saitama, Japan. It was made from 100% malted Concerto two-row barley, milled and mashed in-house, and then fermented in Mizunara washbacks for 90-100 hours. The whisky was then distilled in Forsyth's copper pot stills and aged in a combination of nine different casks, including sherry hogshead as well as IPA, imperial stout, and hopped cider casks. It was bottled at a cask strength 53.5% ABV with its natural colour and without chill-filtration. This is one of 2233 bottles.
