Wine Cask
From Whitlaw distillery in Orkney, this single malt was distilled in 2014 before being allowed to mature for eight years in a single red wine barrel. It was bottled in 2022 by Chapter 7 for its Monologue series, non-chill filtered and with no added colour, with only 314 bottles produced.
Juicy red berry character from the wine barrel joins creamy grist and spices.
Dried cherries, spicy blackberries, and oaky vanilla.
Fresh cut hay, with summer berries lingering.
