An indie bottling of single malt Scotch whisky from an undisclosed distillery in the Highlands, bottled in Scotland for Chapter 7 in Switzerland. This 19 year old whisky was drawn from a pair of ex-Sherry butts and bottled at 56.7% ABV, producing 1130 bottles.
Malt loaf and Christmas cake, with a hint of fresh orchard fruit hiding beneath the surface.
Nutty and Sherried, with a little bit of chocolate biscuit.
Quite long and comforting.
