Carsebridge 52yo TBWC

Pull up a seat at the (18 foot long) table (made from a European oak tree) and dig in to some smashing single grain Scotch whisky from the long-closed Carsebridge distillery! This is the second That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottling of Carsebridge single grain, aged for 52 years before they got their hands on it. The label once again features a jovial scene at London's Black Rock Whisky Bar, where founders Tristan Stephenson and Thomas Aske are enjoying a tipple - and now they've been joined by Black Rock Manager Thomas Solberg and Black Rock Operations Manager Arnaud Chevalier too!

Batch 2 is a release of 285 bottles.

That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles limited edition whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blends, all adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels. The brand won Spirits Bottler of the Year at the 2023 Spirits Business Awards, and Blender of the Year went to Sam Simmons, captain of the Boutique-y clan who oversees every one of these releases.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Brown sugar caramelising in the pan, butterscotch and a light hint of earthy oak.

Palate Waxy orange peels, tobacco leaf and salted caramel brownie. A hint dried apricot.

Finish Toffee apples and a final flourish of cinnamon.

Reviews for Carsebridge 52 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)
Needs more than 5 star rating for it
This was the best whiskey once you have something 52 years old you will never forget it. It was like drinking maple syrup.

Just as epic as batch 1
Massive Sandalwood, polished mahogany, and old cognac spilt on a leather chaise-long. What world do we live in where this is <£250.
