The Cardrona distillery celebrated its birthday in 2022 by releasing this limited-edition single malt. A marriage of four casks that previously held Felton Road pinot noir wine, it boasts dense notes of stone fruits and dried berries among the richly roasted, nutty malt. A superb offering from the young New Zealand distillery. A release of 1,217 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Plum jam, fresh apricots, and a touch of vanilla fudge.

Palate: Sweet layers of toffee, grilled peach, and berry coulis are joined by spiced fruit cake and honey-roasted nuts.

Fantastic

There is a reason for price! I tried a tiny tasting & straightaway ordered one bottle.
Very mixed fruit & punchy whisky which despite high ABV is extetemly smooth.
