“This speyside whisky is one for all. Great smooth taste no peat or smoke, for those who like a gentle warmth this is the one. Even if you think you don't like whisky this will change your mind. And the square bottle makes it harder to spill if you've enjoyed a bit too much in one sitting (as this is a tad moreish)”

Description
Cardhu's Amber Rock single malt Scotch whisky is double matured in toasted American oak casks, resulting in a full bodied whisky, packed with vanilla, citrus and oak-y notes. The is inspired in part by the colour of the whisky, as well as the Gaelic meaning of Cardhu - 'Black Rock'.

Nose
Cinnamon-dusted apple slices, a good drizzle of honey and a hint of orange zest. Then there's the vanilla biscuits. Oh, so many vanilla biscuits!
Palate
Lemons, sticky caramel, vanilla essence and oak spice, lovingly drizzled with honey.
Finish
Subtle bitter orange and oak-y on the finish.
