A Càrn Mòr bottling of single malt from the Caperdonich distillery, which has sadly closed since distilling the whisky back in April 1996. It was matured in a single hogshead for 22 years, until it was bottled in January 2019 as part of the Celebration of the Cask range. 262 bottles were produced.
Nose: Marzipan, banana chips and a whiff of soft, oaky smoke.
Palate: Ginger and nutmeg, with a touch of black tea alongside. Cherry and sultana appear later on.
Finish: A floral hint develops, with continued baking spice and red fruit.
