A Kingsbury bottling of 21 year old whisky from Islay's Caol Ila. This smoky single malt was distilled in 1996 and left to age for 21 years before being bottled at cask strength with an outturn of only 247 bottles.
Honey-roasted peanuts, kippers and fennel seed.
Sweeter than the nose suggests, with hints of pineapple and fresh ginger. Smokiness remains constant throughout.
Oily malt and salted caramel.
