Whiskyland Chapter Eight from Decadent Drinks heads to Islay's Caol Ila, and for good reason. The brand has rangled up a single refill hogshead bottled at a cask strength of 44.5% ABV, with just 226 bottles released. Subtle and fruity, it's evocative of an older style of the single malt.
Soft peat smoke, citrus oils and gentle sweetness.
Orchard fruit, coastal minerality and restrained smoke.
Long, refined and quietly smoky.
