One word describes this whisky for me - WOW! Scotch is my favourite whisky, Islay is my favourite whisky region, and this is my favourite Islay whisky. A nose so rich and complex, I could sit just sniffing it for a long long time and almost forget to taste, but when I do the taste is as complex and long as the nose. Like a good wasabi it creates waves of sensation through to the back of your skull. Just a drop on the front of the tongue and it spreads, warms going on and on.
