This single malt from Caol Ila joins the collection from independent bottler Auld Goonsy's Malt. Distilled in 2013, the whisky was treated to a finish in an amontillado hogshead before bottling in 2023. A release of 299 cask-strength bottles.
Creamy grist, vanilla, apricot, meaty malt, and bonfire ash.
Layers of stone fruit and sponge cake, zesty citrus, and cinder toffee are backed by waves of coastal smoke and charred seaweed.
Ginger and baking spices join flamed orange peels and lingering coastal bonfire embers.
