Distilled in 2014, the whisky was treated to a finish in a Tokaji wine cask before bottling in 2023, so you can expect delicious notes of sweet, vinous fruit alongside classic coastal peat and creamy malt here.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Vibrant layers of herbaceous peat and stewed, syrupy sultanas, joined by robust roasted malt and honeyed tea cakes.
Palate
Tropical fruits arrive, with charred apricot and pineapple, hints of salted mango, and waxed citrus backed by runny honey and bonfire smoke.
Finish
Aromatic woodsmoke, salted fudge, pink peppercorn, and lingering smoked fruit.
