A fine young Caol Ila single malt joins the Benchmark collection from indie bottler Murray McDavid. This single malt spent four of its five years in a selection of first-fill Madeira wine barriques imparting sweet notes of fruit and maple syrup to the robust peaty malt at its core.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Intense and peaty, with barbecued meat and smoked nuts alongside juicy apple sweetness.

Palate Sweet, cakey spice and juicy orchard fruits cushion bold, smoky ash and smouldering embers.

Finish Salted tablet, maple syrup, stewed berries, and cracked black peppercorns.
