Delicious Caol Ila single malt Scotch whisky, independently bottled up by Berry Bros. & Rudd for its Small Batch series. This edition was distilled in 2010, and matured in hogsheads until 2021, when it was bottled at 46% ABV. A great balance of familiar Islay smokiness with enjoyably sweeter notes all the way through – very impressive!

Nose
Sea breeze, toasted teacakes, honey, and petrichor.
Palate
Demerara sugar, anise, earthy peat with a crackle of red chilli flake heat.
Finish
Richly coastal on the finish.
