Bottled for Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice range, this single malt Scotch whisky is from Caol Ila Distillery. It was distilled in 2006 and aged for 17 years (#306193) in a first-fill sherry puncheon before it was bottled on 11 January 2024 at 58.3% ABV. Only 571 bottles were released.
Blackcurrant jam and festive spice aromas lead to dried bananas.
Orange and roasted peanut combine with treacle toffee and sweet smoke.
A full finish with stewed berries and bonfire embers.
