This 2008 Caol Ila from Duncan Taylor spent its final six months in an oloroso sherry octave, bringing a richer sweetness to the Islay single malt’s smoky, savoury character. Bottled at 16 years old, cask 4045046 produced 93 bottles at a cask strength of 55.5% ABV, without added colour or chill filtration.
