Distilled at Caol Ila in 2012, this single malt spent 14 years maturing, including time in a pair of Hungarian Tokaji sweet wine casks. Caol Ila's powerful coastal core is balanced by layers of stone fruit and brioche in this rich, characterful dram.
The seaside meets barbequed peaches! Big tropical fruits, stone, fruit and of course peat.
Brioche, ripe stone fruits, peat and of course a touch of salinity. Banana?
The fruit gives way to peat which eventually softens to expose oak and mellow spice.
