Single cask Caol Ila single malt, distilled in 2010 and matured for a dozen years before bottling in 2023. An independent release of 531 bottles from Adelphi, without chill-filtration, and at natural cask strength.
Baked apple, maple syrup, and waves of brine, with smoked herbs and a touch of warm tar.
Spiced fruit and vanilla join coastal peat smoke, with nutty malt, vanilla, waxed orange peels, and toasted oak.
Cooked stone fruits, citrus, and burnt sugar tangle with cracked peppercorns and smouldering embers.
