A cracking Caol Ila from The Red Cask Co. here, folks! This expression was distilled in 2010 and finished in a first-fill sherry hogshead, before being independently bottled at 11 years of age in 2021. A release of 243 bottles.
Coastal peat with whiffs of seaweed underneath hints of wine gums and raisins.
Still packed with peat, though chocolatey notes build and build.
Black pepper, cinnamon, and smoke.
