Matured in four first fill Sherry butts, this is a treat of an independently bottled Islay single malt. Distilled at Caol Ila in February 2005, it was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for their Cask Strength range in July 2016.
Peaty, smoky, lightly spiced red toffee apples.
Greengages, red fruit and ash with touches of sea salt chocs.
Sweet Caol Ila smoke lasts as you would expect.
