Matured in four first fill Sherry butts, this is a treat of an independently bottled Islay single malt. Distilled at Caol Ila in February 2005, it was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for their Cask Strength range in July 2016.
Nose: Peaty, smoky, lightly spiced red toffee apples.
Palate: Greengages, red fruit and ash with touches of sea salt chocs.
Finish: Sweet Caol Ila smoke lasts as you would expect.
