Distilled in 2013, this single malt from Caol Ila finished its 10-year maturation in a first fill palo cortado sherry hogshead. The whisky was bottled in 2023 by Woodrow's of Edinburgh, releasing a total outturn of 293 cask-strength bottles.
Candied lemons and aromatic oak are joined by grilled stone fruits and cloves, while waves of coastal smoke, chocolate hazelnuts, and earthy malt rest beneath.
Dense peat smoke and sticky, jammy fruit, meaty barley, coffee grounds, and a touch of anise.
