An indie Caol Ila here, which was aged for a whole decade! Distilled in 2009, the single malt was drawn from five casks in 2020 when it was bottled by The Single Malts of Scotland for the Reserve Casks series at 48% ABV. One for Islay lovers, this.
Digestive biscuits and salted butter, with coastal smoke and hints of citrus.
Floral honey and fragrant peat, leading into lemongrass and peppery oak.
Oily smoke lingers on a tropical fruit finish.
