An indie bottling of Caol Ila single malt, distilled in 2009 and matured for 10 years. In 2020, it was bottled up by Berry Bros. & Rudd and released as a special celebration bottling honouring the Year of the Ox. Superb Islay whisky seems like a great way to celebrate!
Oily barley, phenols, a touch of damp oak, followed by bright, zesty citrus.
More coastal peaty whiffs and lively citrus, with vanilla mellowing everything out.
Cask spiciness sticks around on the finish.
