A brilliant bottling of Bunnahabhain single malt, matured for a dozen years in a single sherry butt. After this rest, the cask was opened up by the team at Canmore to release a total outturn of 913 bottles, without any colouring or chill-filtration.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Boozy berries and candied fruit, sherried oak, with sweet baking spices.
Palate
Oily malt with a creamy mouthfeel, dark cherry chocolate, dates, and spiced fruit cake.
Finish
Dense dried fruits stick around, with plenty of aromatic spice and nutty malt in tow.
