A North Star Spirits bottling of well-matured single grain here, produced by the Cameronbridge Distillery back in 1982. It was allowed a generous 37 years of rest in a single bourbon barrel before being bottled at 51% ABV with an outturn of only 198 bottles.
Salted caramel, walnut, freshly cut oak and a hint of citrus.
Herbal as it opens, leading to a refreshing palate of green apple and menthol.
Hints of waxy peels and diced herbs.
