24-year-old Cameronbridge single grain Scotch whisky, which we bottled as part of our Single Cask Series. Back in October 1991, this whisky was distilled at Cameronbridge and ushered into a refill bourbon hogshead where it slumbered for almost a quarter of a century. In April 2016, we bottled it without any chill-filtration or additional colours whatsoever. Aren't we lovely?
Toffee apples and spongecake. Drying cocoa and a few hints of citrus blossom and sawdust. Develops touches of coffee bean after a few minutes in the glass.
Cherry cola, anise and yet more spongecake. Spun sugar and peach crumble round off the mid-palate.
Soft and creamy, with a few notes of peppercorn and basil later on.
