Cameronbridge 33 Year Old 1978 - Rare Auld (Duncan Taylor)

Distilled at Cameronbridge in August 1978, this single grain whisky was aged in cask number 2 for 33 years before bottling in November 2011 by Duncan Taylor for their Rare Auld range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Toasted oak, vanilla cream and oily espresso beans. Some pepper, cereal sweetness and rye.

Palate

Berry fruits, particularly the jam made thereof, with hot buttered toast, golden syrup and generic fruitiness.

Finish

Sweet, medium length finish with toasted grains and spice.
