Cameronbridge 35 Year Old 1984 (cask 19300) - Cask Strength Collection (Signatory)

Behold, a brill single grain from the Cameronbridge Distillery, independently bottled by Signatory after a rather lengthy maturation. This one was distilled in March 1984 and left to age in a single hogshead until May 2019 - 35 years! It was then bottled as part of the Cask Strength Collection with an outturn of just 97 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Peanut butter, apricot jam, cinnamon gum, a core of solid oak and whiffs of honeydew melon.

    Palate

Like an old fashioned sweet shop - cola cube, pineapple cubes, icing sugar and chocolate tools!

    Finish

Lingering savoury hints of leather and tobacco, but candied peels and chocolate remain at the fore on the finish.

    Definatly want more of this

WOW absolutely sublime so gentile and does it pack a punch on complex flavours, The finish is long and sweet one could almost be forgiven thinking they just finished drinking a fine old rum. I enjoy all good whiskies from Islay's to Spey sides as well as good rums from Jamaican funk to Guyana smooth.
