Cambus 36 Year Old 1975 - The Clan Denny (Douglas Laing)
A cask strength, single cask grain whisky from the Cambus distillery. This was distilled in 1975 before a whopping 36 years spent quietly maturing in bourbon barrel 7252 before bottling. Delicious stuff.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sweet spices - rhum and raisin ice-cream, hot custard and cereal sweetness. A touch of oak too.
Palate
Oaky palate with crème caramel, black pepper, apple and pear juice, Demerara sugar.
Finish
Smooth and rich finish with peppery spices.
