A single grain from the closed Cambus Distillery, bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh after 34 years in a second-fill puncheon. Long ageing has transformed the spirit into something silky, elegant, and deeply dessert-like, and it's a lovely reminder of why old Cambus has become such a cult favourite.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Vanilla fudge, white chocolate, coconut cream, and caramelised sugar, with ripe pear and polished oak.
Palate
Toffee sauce, custard creams, baked apple, and soft cinnamon spice, wrapped in gentle oak sweetness.
Finish
Lingering vanilla cream, almond, and delicate wood spice.
