Cambus 30 Year Old 1991 Single Cask (Master of Malt)
An absolute cracker from the now-closed Cambus Distillery! Matured for 30 years between 1991 and 2021 in a single refill hogshead, this single grain whisky was finally bottled up by none other than us, Master of Malt, releasing a total of precisely 100 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Soft butterscotch and creamy vanilla custard. American pancakes, with maple syrup and mashed banana. Just a pinch of cracked green peppercorn.
Palate
Choux pastries with chantilly cream, fragrant vanilla pod, and fresh green apple combine with oily grain and honeyed oak. Ginger and pepper bubble warmly beneath, with a hint of petrichor in the distance.
Finish
The pepper takes hold at the end with rich oaken vanilla and creamy grain sticking around too.
