A cracking single grain here from the now silent Cambus Distillery, distilled in 1991 and matured for three whole decades in a single refill sherry butt. Finally, in August 2021, the team at Signatory decided it would make a fantastic addition to the Cask Strength Collection (which it does!) and that it was about time to bottle the whisky up (which they did!). 454 bottles were released in total, at an ABV of 57.8%.
Jam tarts, vanilla custard, dried fruits, and citrus zest.
Cinnamon buns with sugary frosting, creamy vanilla, hints of chai tea.
Dates, sherried sultanas, cakey spice, and baked pear.
