A grand old single grain Scotch from the long-closed Cambus distillery, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. The label depicts the classic snowy scene that we've seen on previous batches, with a whole snow family, including snow pets, guarding a mountainous rack of barrels.
Batch 12 is a release of 427 bottles.
That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles limited edition whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose Salted caramel sauce on vanilla ice cream and sticky toffee pudding. There are hints of dried fruit, cinnamon and fluffy white bread underneath.
Palate Rich, chewy molasses at the core, with stewed fruits and a hint of cake batter in support. A red chilli element brings spice and an earthy warmth to the backdrop.
Finish More of that dessert-based sweetness lingers with a touch of ginger and tropical fruit thrown in for good measure.
