Snap up some superb single grain right here! This is an indie bottling of 27 year old single grain Scotch whisky from the sadly closed Cambus Distillery, aged in a sherry butt from August 1991 to April 2019. Following that, the whisky was bottled by Càrn Mòr for the Celebration of the Cask range, producing 515 bottles presented at 60.6% ABV.
Nose: Walnut, orange boiled sweeties, a hint of polished oak and honeycomb.
Palate: Chocolate ice cream and waffle cones, juicy sultanas, a good kick of caraway spiciness.
Finish: Soft cigar box richness balanced by sherbet lemons and sugared almonds.
