A 24 year old single grain Scotch whisky from the Cambus distillery (sadly closed), bottled by Duncan Taylor for their Octave range. This was finished in a tiny octave cask for 4 months before being bottled in 2016. 65 bottles were produced.
Nose Brown sugar, toffee pennies and a little bit of apple.
Palate Quite nutty at the start, with intense caramel and vanilla pod following on.
Finish Fresh fruit the finish. Cake-y.
