30 year old single grain Scotch whisky from the Caledonian distillery, which was distilled in 1987 -- the year before Caledonian closed its doors for good. It was matured in a single hogshead cask until July 2017, when Signatory bottled it as part of the Cask Strength Collection. A release of 142 bottles.
Old-fashioned cola, orange peel, vanilla ice cream and a hint of salted crackers.
Roasted peanuts, apricots, pecan pie and ripe banana.
Thick layers of caramel and a good dusting of cinnamon.
