Single Malt
11 Jun 2002

From the superb Causeway Collection comes a vintage 2002 Bushmills single malt Irish whiskey. It was aged in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks for over 18 years then, after its initial maturation, it was transferred to vermouth casks for a finishing period of over two years. Bushmills says this is the world’s first-ever vermouth cask-finished Irish single malt whiskey. So it's pretty special stuff.
Plenty of bright floral notes meet dried fruit, orange peel, charred mango, aromatic spice, and a little creamy nutty element.
Christmas cake, orange curd, hazelnut, pineapple chunks, toffee, and cinnamon.
Long and rich with plenty of tropical fruit.
