This litre bottle from Ireland's Bushmills is a different expression of their core Black Bush blended whiskey, but with 80% of this blend enjoying a finish in Pedro Ximenez sherry barrels, combined with 20% of small batch grain whiskey. Bottled up at 40% ABV, it's fantastically approachable, with plenty of rich, fruity, sherry character.
Spicy fruitcake, candied orange peel, and syrupy flapjacks.
Sherry sweetness, with warm oak, raisins, allspice, and almond praline.
The spice lingers, with hints of citrus.

The extra sherry adds more flavour and aroma. Definitely has some beautiful spices and citrus. Worth the enjoyment in my opinion.
