This brilliant Bushmills was uncovered and bottled by the heroes at Forgotten Gems! The single malt Irish whiskey matured for an impressive 32 years in an ex-Bourbon barrel before being bottled, with the Bushmills name! Named independently bottled Bushmills are rare as rocking horse sh... shoes, and each bottle here is one of just 32 produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Green apple sweeties, old oak and a touch of waxed jacket with prunes, creamy toffee, strawberry laces, and woody spice beneath.
Palate
Soft and creamy with hearty helpings of sweet summer berries, dusted with icing sugar. There's a floral touch of rooibos tea, and robust, gently spicy old oak. Clove and pepper develop in time, kept in check by butterscotch sweetness.
Finish
Robust, sweet oak, peppercorn and ginger warmth, bitter orange, floral tobacco, subtle smoky tea, dried fruit and candied berries.
