10 year old Irish single malt from Bushmills' Causeway Collection – the previous release in this series was finished in Malaga wine casks, whereas this particular expression enjoyed a finishing period in Cognac casks! It was initially aged in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, before being moved over to Cognac casks for the final two years of maturation. Lots of fruit-forward notes to discover here.

Heavy vanilla at the fore, but still packed with orchard fruit and warming spices.
