A delightful indie bottling of Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain. Distilled in 1990, this expression spent 28 years maturing in a single hogshead, until 2019 when those wonderful folks at Wemyss Malts opened it up, releasing a total of 250 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Baked apple with festive spice, lots of floral fruit opens up with a gently salty sea breeze.

Palate: Sweet wild honey, a whiff of seaweed, juicy raisins, and some tangy citrus arrive on the palate, with a touch of cured meat in tow.

Finish: Nutty leather and rich malt balance a touch of coastal woodsmoke, smooth vanilla, and toasted spice.
