A peated Bunnahabhain! This young Islay whisky was distilled in 2014, and aged for just four years before Duncan Taylor bottled it up for its Battlehill series. Don't judge it by its age though, this expression is absolutely packed full of flavour!
A good wave of coastal peat, with boiled lemon sweeties, touches of liquorice and salted lemon peel.
A sea breeze runs throughout, with dry smoke, earthy oak and more of that vibrant citrus in support.
Black pepper and spicy oak linger on a savoury, smoky coastal finish.
