We've independently bottled an absolutely cracking 33-year-old Bunnahabhain single malt! It was distilled on the Isle of Islay all the way back in August 1982 and left to mature in a refill sherry cask for over three decades before we got our hands on it and bottled it up in December 2015!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Two scoops of salted caramel ice cream and a scoop of mint-choc-chip too. Pithy orange, rye warmth and a hint of rock pools.
Palate
Continues to be packed with rye and caramel, with heaps of fresh orange behind it. Notes of old leather and oak follow it up.
Finish
Orchard fruit lasts, with touches of sweet coffee too.
