28 year old single malt from Bunnahabhain, independently bottled by hannah Whisky Merchants for the Lady of the Glen range. It was aged in a single bourbon hogshead from October 1989 to September 2018, then bottled at 43.7% ABV with an otuturn of only 204 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Salted butter on brown bread, heavy vanilla, a few touches of lemon peel hiding underneath.
Palate
Stewed summer berries and fresh green apples, followed by continues vanilla. Slightly floral at points.
Finish
A wash of coastal air develops, with just a touch of driftwood.
